‘Whether it is a once in the lifetime trip, or a new take on a regular holiday destination, I

always find new things to entertain me in London and the UK.

Day 1: Arrival in London

As I landed in London, I was filled with excitement and anticipation for my seven-day trip that lay ahead. The city, known for its rich history, diverse culture, and bustling atmosphere, did not disappoint. After checking into my hotel, I started exploring the city.

I first visited the iconic Big Ben, which was unfortunately under renovation during my trip, but still an impressive sight. I then walked across the Westminster Bridge to get a stunning view of the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye. Later, I visited the Tower of London, where I learned about the city's long history and viewed the incredible Crown Jewels.

For dinner, I enjoyed a classic British dish of fish and chips at a traditional pub before retiring to my hotel, tired but excited for what the rest of my trip had in store.

Day 2: Exploring the City

On my second day in London, I headed to the famous British Museum, known for its vast collection of artifacts from around the world. I spent hours wandering through the galleries, admiring the exhibits, and learning about the history and cultures of ancient civilizations.

After the museum, I took a stroll through the charming neighborhood of Notting Hill, with its colorful houses and bustling markets. I also visited the historic Portobello Road Market, where I browsed the stalls selling everything from antiques to fresh produce.

In the evening, I went to a West End show, immersing myself in the city's thriving theatre scene.

Day 3: Camden and More

On my third day in London, I headed to the vibrant neighborhood of Camden, known for its street markets, music venues, and alternative culture. I spent the day exploring the markets, sampling delicious food from around the world, and listening to live music on the streets.

In the afternoon, I visited the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum, where I took pictures with my favorite celebrities and historical figures. Later, I visited the British Library, home to some of the most important literary works in the world, including original manuscripts by William Shakespeare and Jane Austen.

Day 4: Cornwall Bound

After three full days in London, I was ready for a change of pace. I took a train to Cornwall, a region in the southwest of England known for its stunning natural beauty and charming coastal towns. After checking into my hotel, I spent the evening exploring the small village of St. Ives, with its narrow streets, art galleries, and cozy pubs.

Day 5: St. Michael's Mount

On my fifth day in Cornwall, I visited the stunning St. Michael's Mount, a small island just off the coast that is accessible by a causeway at low tide. The island is home to a historic castle and beautiful gardens, which I explored for hours.

The castle, with its ancient architecture and rich history, was a highlight of my trip. I also enjoyed wandering through the gardens, which were in full bloom with colorful flowers and greenery. In the evening, I went to a traditional Cornish pub for dinner, where I tried a delicious Cornish pasty, a local speciality.

Day 6: Coastal Hike

On my sixth day in Cornwall, I went on a scenic coastal hike along the rugged cliffs, enjoying the stunning views of the sea and the dramatic landscapes. The hike was challenging but rewarding, and I felt invigorated and refreshed after completing it.

After the hike, I visited the charming town of Padstow, known for its fresh seafood and picturesque harbour. I tried some of the local specialities, including a delicious crab sandwich, and wandered through the town's quaint streets.
