If Australia had a city to fall in love with, Melbourne would be it for me. The food, fashion

and theatre make it a place I come away from feeling like I got my New York hit that little bit

closer to home.

Day 1: Melbourne City Exploration

Morning

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at a local café, such as Proud Mary, St. Ali, or Higher Ground.

Wander around Federation Square and explore the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI).

Visit the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) to admire the art collections.

Afternoon

Stroll along the Yarra River and explore the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Take a walk along the Southbank Promenade and enjoy the riverside views.

Visit the Eureka Skydeck for panoramic views of the city.

Evening

Discover the vibrant laneways, including Hosier Lane, Degraves Street, and Centre Place, known for their street art, cafes, and boutiques.

Enjoy dinner in one of the city's renowned dining districts, such as Chinatown or Hardware Lane.

Day 2: Neighborhoods and Culture

Morning

- Begin your day with breakfast at a Fitzroy or Collingwood café.

- Explore Fitzroy's unique shops, galleries, and the Rose Street Artists' Market (if it's a weekend).

Afternoon

Visit Queen Victoria Market for lunch and shopping, sampling street food and browsing for souvenirs.

Explore the Melbourne Museum and the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens.

Evening

Enjoy an Italian dinner in Lygon Street, Melbourne's "Little Italy."

Attend a performance at one of Melbourne's theaters, such as Princess Theatre, Regent Theatre, or Her Majesty's Theatre.

Day 3: Outdoor Adventures and Farewell

Morning

Take a day trip to the Great Ocean Road, the Dandenong Ranges, or the Mornington Peninsula for outdoor adventures, hiking, and scenic drives.

Evening

Return to Melbourne and have a farewell dinner in Southbank, with a view of the Yarra River and the city skyline.

Take a leisurely stroll along the Southbank Promenade or enjoy a nightcap in one of the riverside bars.

This itinerary offers a mix of Melbourne's cultural, culinary, and outdoor experiences while leaving plenty of room for flexibility and personal preferences.

Enjoy your weekend in Melbourne!
